Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract An exciting new opportunity is available for two full-time Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support students in a school setting. As a contract LVN, you will provide essential care and health services to ensure student well-being throughout the school day. Qualifications and Experience:

Current, unrestricted LVN/LPN license in California Previous experience working in pediatric, school, or similar settings preferred Familiarity with common pediatric medical issues, medication administration, and emergency procedures Strong communication skills and ability to interact with students, teachers, and parents Ability to maintain clear and accurate health records Commitment to promoting student health and a positive school experience CPR/BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and health assessments to students Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician and parent instructions Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement care plans for students with health concerns Monitor immunization records and assist with health-related documentation Respond promptly to medical emergencies and communicate concerns as needed Educate students and staff on health and wellness practices Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive health office environment This contract position offers the chance to work a consistent full-time school schedule, fostering relationships with students and fellow professionals.
