(Management of Aggressive Behavior) — last resort Handle with Care Preferred Experience Recent inpatient psychiatric experience Patient Population This unit treats adult patients with the following primary diagnoses: ADHD Bipolar Disorder Autism Spectrum Disorder Eating Disorders PTSD Anxiety Disorder Depression / Major Depressive Disorder Psychotic Disorder Oppositional Defiant Disorder Patients also frequently present with co-occurring medical conditions, including: Substance use disorder (patients are typically medically stable at admission) Alcohol or opiate withdrawal (typically stable at admission) Hypertension Diabetes Geriatric patients at high fall risk Patients experiencing pain Occasional wound care needs Unit Details / Equipment Electronic patient rounding (Rover device — used for photos, vitals entry, and food intake tracking) ObservSmart monitoring system
