Setting:

Short Term Acute Care Hospital Responsibilities Provide general nursing care under the supervision of an RN or MD according to established policy. Participate in planning and provision of patient care; contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan and discharge planning; support patient and family education. Administer medications and perform routine clinical procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) following aseptic technique. Monitor and restock supplies; maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas; assist with infection control practices. Document patient care in the electronic medical record; report changes in patient condition to the supervising clinician; participate in on-call duties as needed. On this assignment, schedule requires day shifts with weekend work and three weekdays, with on-call duties assigned based on operational needs.

EPIC EMR

experience and hospice care experience are required. Requirements Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California (state of practice) required. Minimum two years of recent nursing experience in the field. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required; Arrhythmia certification preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
