Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, is hiring a Clinical Associate to provide direct clinical support within the PACT model at the proposed Yreka, CA CBOC, pending VA contract award.

Full-Time Contract Primary Responsibilities Provide evaluation and care consistent with licensure/certification to patients assigned to PACTs Collaborate with PACT staff on comprehensive health care and care management plans Manage clinic workflow and ensure timely placement of patients in examination rooms Perform vitals, point-of-care testing, and assist with procedures Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic technique, infection control, and patient confidentiality Receive training to serve as backup for telehealth services (e.g., Store & Forward, Clinical Video Telehealth) Complete assigned tasks within the clinic session without delaying patient care
Minimum Qualifications LPN/LVN:
Current, full, active, unrestricted license; current BLS certification; ambulatory care experience
OR Health Technician/Nursing Assistant:
Meets VA Qualification Standards for Nursing Assistant, or OPM Health Aid and Technician Series 0640 Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license/certification (as applicable to the position) in California, or otherwise meet VA Qualification Standards for the position. Must successfully complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation (cleared through OPM via the VA Security and Investigations Center) prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required.
