This role blends clinical oversight, program development, and compassionate leadership to promote the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of older adults. Key Responsibilities Program Development & Leadership Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive wellness program addressing the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of resident well-being Create individualized wellness plans in collaboration with residents, families, and care teams Lead fitness classes, wellness workshops, and health education programs tailored to varying ability levels Health & Clinical Oversight Monitor resident health trends and coordinate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff Conduct wellness screenings, assessments, and health coaching sessions Manage fall prevention, chronic disease management, and cognitive wellness initiatives Staff Management Hire, train, schedule, and supervise wellness staff and fitness instructors Foster a culture of person-centered care and continuous improvement Community & Family Engagement Serve as a resource for families on resident wellness and lifestyle topics Partner with local health systems, vendors, and community organizations Lead wellness-focused marketing events and prospective resident tours Administrative Manage the wellness department budget and reporting Ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies Maintain accurate documentation of programs and resident participation Qualifications Active Colorado RN or LPN license required. 3-5 years of experience in wellness, fitness, or health programming, ideally in senior living or healthcare Certifications such as ACE, ACSM, or similar health/fitness credential preferred CPR/First Aid certified Strong knowledge of aging physiology and age-appropriate exercise programming Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Proficiency with health tracking software and
