•We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility,

Pay Rate:

$42/hr

Job Location:

Gunnison, CO 81230

Shift:

Day 12 hour shifts (6a - 6p)

Duration of Contract:

13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 36hr guarantee

Position Requirements:

Active Colorado LPN license Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable setting Current

BLS/BCLS

certification Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices IV certification preferred Ability to complete the required Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check Reliable transportation required due to the rural location and lack of public transportation.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and facility protocols. Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the RN, physician, or Director of Nursing. Perform assessments, vital signs, wound care, and other required nursing procedures. Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain their comfort, dignity, and safety. Supervise and coordinate nursing activities during the assigned shift.
