Job Description

GLC Group is seeking for Licensed Practical Nurses-LTC/SNF in Montrose, CO! 13 to 16 weeks contract
Shift:
6p-6a 48
Hours Guaranteed LPN Pay:
$18 hourly / $45 OT + $1000 stipend (
Responsibilities:
1. Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs. 2. Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition 3. Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. 4. Provides routine care for patients. 5. Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. 6. Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts 7. Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc. 8. Administer prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks. 9. Collect samples for lab testing as assigned. 10. Provide emotional and psychological support when needed 11. Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions 12. Assembling the equipment like gastrostomy tubes, catheters, and oxygen supplies. 13. Enter the data related to the record of patients in computer systems. 14. Admitting and billing patients 15. Regulate vaccinations and injections 16. Educate and encourage patients to avoid unhealthy routine 17. Keep the health records updated 18. Inform the patients about the doctor's order or test results via mail or call 19. Assist registered nurses and other superior nurses to develop best care plan for the patients 20. Supervise certified nursing assistants and other non-licensed nursing profes
