Shift Times:
Days (8am - 5:00 pm) Guaranteed hrs : 40 hrs Duties Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions following established protocols and safety standards. Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments such as catheterizations and sterile techniques. Conduct triage assessments to determine patient acuity levels and prioritize care delivery effectively. Manage specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities, ensuring tailored interventions. Support discharge planning by providing patient education on medication administration, wound care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans across settings including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home care environments. Ensure infection control practices are adhered to during all clinical procedures. Participate in ongoing training related to EMR/EHR systems, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and current clinical guidelines.
