The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including acute care, long-term care, and medical offices. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' health and well-being by performing essential nursing duties and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Assist with catheterization and IV insertion procedures. Provide wound care and perform sterile processing as needed. Support patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop patient care plans. Document patient information accurately in medical records. Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans. Participate in travel nursing assignments when required. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in acute care or long-term care settings is preferred. Proficient in administering medications, catheterization, IV insertion, and vital signs monitoring. Knowledge of hospital medicine systems and medical office procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
