This contract opportunity offers consistent Wednesday shifts from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm (with early release days ending at 12:10 pm), beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 11. This position is ideal for those passionate about student-centered healthcare and seeking a part-time schedule. Key dates you'll cover include: Sept 16 Oct 7, 21, 28 Nov 11, 18 Dec 9, 16 Jan 6, 13, 27 Feb 3, 10, 24 March 31 April 7, 21, 28 May 12, 19, 26
Qualifications:
Active LPN or LVN license in Connecticut Current BLS/CPR certification Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric/medically fragile populations is highly desirable Reliable professionalism and communication skills Ability to follow confidential health care plansResponsibilities:
Deliver consistent, compassionate nursing care to a medically fragile student during the school day Administer medications, monitor health status, and respond to needs as they arise Collaborate closely with educational and clinical staff to ensure the safety and well-being of the student Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient confidentiality Provide support during scheduled school activities and transitions This position offers the unique fulfillment of supporting a student's health so they can thrive in the educational setting.
