This contract opportunity is based near Farmington, CT, and requires a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who can deliver exceptional care on a one-to-one basis. The assignment runs Wednesdays only from now until June 11, with set dates throughout the academic year. Hours are 7:30 am to 2:30 pm (or until 12:10 pm on early release days).
Key Qualifications:
Active LPN license to practice in Connecticut Current BLS/CPR certification School nursing or pediatric care experience preferred Ability to provide attentive, individualized care in a school environment Professional, reliable, and confident in clinical decision-making
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct 1:1 nursing support to a medically fragile student during the school day Administer prescribed medications and treatments as necessary Monitor student's condition and communicate effectively with school personnel and parents/guardians Ensure safety and well-being of the student in accordance with care plans and school guidelines Maintain accurate healthcare documentation Respond calmly and efficiently to any healthcare emergencies that may arise Your Role at a
