Serving communities across Connecticut since 1970, we provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment, counseling, mental health services, primary care, and recovery support.

Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, the Staff Nurse serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing nursing services to individuals receiving Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) within an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include medication administration and monitoring, patient assessment, and support of a safe, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed environment. Attendance is punctual and reliable, and necessary absences must be planned. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, manage multiple competing priorities, and demonstrate strong collaboration as part of an interdisciplinary team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assumes responsibility for dispensing medication, supervising control of medication, and monitors self

•administration of medication for patients in the Opiate Replacement Treatment Program. Assist in clinic where needed. Uses diagnostic knowledge to conceptualize, develop, and implement treatment plans for patients in conjunction with other staff. Enters information into patient records. Maintains pertinent nursing and clinical records according to federal, state, and program policies and procedures. Fosters development of teamwork with co-workers toward achievement of departmental goals. Attendance is punctual and reliable, and necessary absences are planned in advance. Specify other factors that can support position description/performance evaluation: Buprenorphine, Phlebotomy skills, immunizations. Requires Experience, Certifications, and License(s): Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse

•Active 2 years in mental health and addiction treatment CPR

•Active CT driver's license
