2996669440-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Hartford Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under RN and physician supervision, including assessments, treatments, and accurate documentation. You will administer medications, monitor patient status, perform wound care, and support procedures while maintaining strict infection control and safety standards. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision, including assessments, treatments, and documentation. Administer medications and injections, monitor patient responses, and report changes in condition. Assist with care planning, implementation, and evaluation to support optimal patient outcomes. Perform basic wound care, specimen collection, and diagnostic support tasks per protocols. Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic patient care. Support physicians and RNs during procedures and emergencies. Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff meetings.
