Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and standards. Your role is vital in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being. This job requires weekend availability. Duties This patient has a g-tube and Tracheostomy. We are looking for a dayshift nurse who is available to go to school with her in the Cape Coral area. Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday no school. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Perform procedures such as tube feeding, wound care, ect. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in critical care transport situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility. Qualifications Valid (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and nursing best practices. Experience in critical care, ICU, OR, or urgent care settings is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
