Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during overnight hours from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M., Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patients across various settings including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Monitor patients' conditions closely, managing acute pain and providing specialized care such as IV infusion, catheterization, and ventilator management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning and case management. Maintain detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection/processing, and basic laboratory procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, memory care, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. Ensure infection control practices are followed meticulously to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid LPN or RN license with current state licensure required; RN candidates preferred for advanced responsibilities. Prior experience in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable; experience in emergency medicine or hospital medicine is beneficial. Demonstrated expertise in medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, hospice care, or post-acute care environments. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; familiarity with
