A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

- RN•The Clinical Nurse responsibilities include:•+ Cares for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards.
+ Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
+ Is responsible for professional accountability and seeks opportunities to develop.
+ Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Certifications and Licensures:
- + BLS (Basic Life Support) + RN (Registered Nurse) + ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department + Preferred Nurse Specialty
- Education:
- + Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing + Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
- Experience:
- + 6+ months RN experience required + If you are a New Grad RN or RN student graduating soon, please apply to our Clinical Nurse Residency
