Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during overnight shifts from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M., Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications and injections accurately, following aseptic techniques and established protocols, including IV infusions and medication management. Monitor patients' conditions closely, providing acute pain management, trauma care, or critical care as needed, especially within ICU or trauma center environments. Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection, and processing to support comprehensive patient care. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning and long-term care strategies. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards to ensure patient confidentiality and safety. Provide specialized care for diverse populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative medicine services. Experience Proven experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, or trauma centers; Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding is advantageous. Experience in critical care environments including ventilator management, cardiac catheterization recovery, or neonatal resuscitation procedures. Background in medical-surgical nursing, telemetry monitoring, or specialty areas such as ophthalmology, infectious disease care, or behavioral health. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques essential for accurate patient assessment. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes is highly valued. Ability to perform sterile procedures such as suturing and ostomy care; experience with laboratory testing and specimen collection is beneficial.
