We're now spreading the love through the country by opening our second location in Southwest Florida! We're looking for a LPN who has experience in serving patients on a home health setting. This is a PRN opportunity, meaning the schedule depends on your availability.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for providing skilled nursing services, under the supervision of a registered nurse. Duties Assist the Registered Nurse in carrying out the plan of care. Assist the Registered Nurse in performing specialized procedures, as directed, by the Registered Nurse under physician's orders. Prepare clinical and progress notes Observe, record, and report, to the appropriate person, patient symptoms, reactions, and changes including: The general physical and mental condition of patients and signs and symptoms, which may be indicative of changes in condition AND stresses in human relationships, between the patients and staff personnel, and between patients and their families and visitors. Assist with the rehabilitation of patients, according to the medical care plan, by encouraging the interests and special aptitudes of the patient and encouraging patients to help themselves using their own capabilities. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited School of Practical Nursing Must be licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse One or more years in a Home Health Agency or in a hospital setting. Home health experience preferred. Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and valid automobile insurance Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must have a criminal background check. Must have current CPR certification. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information. Thank you for looking over our job description. We appreciate it!
