Weekly pay, Medical, Vision, Dental Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy primary care practice in Orlando, FL. This role provides essential nursing support to providers and patients while ensuring high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience with patient triage and outpatient nursing, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers and Medical Assistants. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Support Perform patient triage by assessing symptoms, prioritizing patient concerns, and determining appropriate next steps. Conduct nursing assessments and gather relevant patient information prior to provider visits. Provide basic wound care treatment and patient education. Administer medications, injections, and treatments within the scope of practice. Perform IV therapy and monitor patients during and after treatment as appropriate. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and other clinical needs. Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, test results, medication questions, and ongoing care needs. Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant findings to providers promptly. Documentation & Care Coordination Accurately document patient encounters, assessments, treatments, and communications within the electronic medical record (EMR). Maintain timely and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with practice standards. Coordinate patient care and assist with referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments as needed. Ensure compliance with clinic policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards. Team Collaboration Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and Medical Assistants to ensure efficient clinic operations. Provide support to the Medical Assistant team during high-volume periods. Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to deliver coordinated patient care. Contribute to a positive, patient-centered team environment. Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Florida LPN or RN license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous clinical experience as an LPN or RN required. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience with patient triage, wound care, medication administration, and IV therapy. Strong ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple patient needs simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong clinical judgment and prioritization abilities. Experience working collaboratively with providers and Medical Assistants in a healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications Candidates who possess the following qualifications will stand out: Primary care or outpatient clinic experience. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR system. Strong triage and patient assessment skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment. Proactive approach to patient care and team support. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
