Job Description

Job Responsibilities As an LPN at Ansley Cove of Maitland, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our patients' daily needs and overall well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
Independently completes all required documentation per company policy. Performs data collection duties and documents condition and changes in the physical, psychological, social and spiritual status of assigned residents. Giving medication as prescribed by the physician Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas Giving injections of medications Entering information into computer systems Ensuring patients and families understand release instructions Providing oversight to Nursing Assistive Personnel (NAP) Monitoring fluid/food intake and output Moving patients safely Observing patient reactions to medications Observing patient mental health status Providing emotional support Assisting with daily needs such as bathing and dressing Observing of patients for skin breakdown Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Must-have:
High school diploma or equivalent. Active LPN licensure in Florida Ability to follow care plans, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA. Physical stamina to lift and assist patients safely and perform duties during long shifts.
Nice-to-have:
Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Specialized training in use of DME. Multilingual abilities to communicate with diverse patient populations.

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
