Corporate Wellness Events Location:

Multiple Florida markets — South Florida (Fort Lauderdale/Broward County) and Central Florida (Orlando/Space Coast/Brevard County). Nurses may select event assignments based on their location and availability. Position Overview Homeland Wellness is seeking professional, personable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support corporate wellness events, employee health fairs, and preventive health screening programs. Our nurses work directly with employees at onsite wellness events, providing health screenings, preventive health education, and an engaging, positive wellness experience. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for flexible, PRN work outside of a traditional hospital or clinical setting. Responsibilities Depending on the event and assigned wellness station, responsibilities may include: Conducting blood pressure and other basic biometric screenings Assisting with bone health and osteoporosis screening programs Supporting cardiovascular and vascular wellness screenings Providing diabetes and metabolic health education Conducting stress and lifestyle wellness assessments Providing education regarding cancer prevention and recommended screenings, including breast, colorectal, prostate, and skin cancer awareness Providing smoking and vaping cessation education Discussing healthy weight, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and other preventive health topics Explaining screening results within the appropriate scope of practice Identifying participants who may benefit from follow-up with their primary care provider or another qualified healthcare professional Providing educational materials and appropriate referral recommendations Accurately documenting screening information when required Maintaining participant privacy and professionalism Setting up, maintaining, sanitizing, and breaking down screening equipment and wellness stations Creating a welcoming, engaging experience that encourages employees to participate in preventive health and wellness programs Qualifications Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Previous experience in health screenings, occupational health, corporate wellness, primary care, community health, health fairs, or preventive care preferred Comfortable discussing preventive health and lifestyle topics with participants Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Dependable and punctual Comfortable working independently at corporate and community events Ability to learn Homeland Wellness screening protocols and equipment procedures Ability to travel to assigned event locations Training on Homeland Wellness screening protocols, equipment, educational programs, and event procedures will be provided as appropriate. Schedule This is a flexible PRN/event-based position . Events are scheduled throughout the year and may range from several hours to full-day corporate wellness events. Nurses may accept events based on their availability.
