Report's problems/potential problems to RN/Case Manager. The Licensed Practical Nurse duties and responsibilities are to particle in the nursing process by providing input to the client's plane of care. Implementing the care plan as written. Evaluating effectiveness of care plan, make recommendations for revisions as appropriate. Records all pertinent observations and treatments as per Agency policies. Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of the client. Perform nursing procedures for which he/she has been trained. Notify appropriate person about unusual symptoms and/or changes in condition of clients. Participate in case conferences, meeting and performance improvement activities as assigned. Complies with all Agency policies and procedures including HIPPA Privacy Rules. Maintains patient/business confidentiality. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
