In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care directly in patients' homes, ensuring children with diverse medical needs receive the highest quality of care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference through personalized, hands-on nursing care. Duties Deliver comprehensive pediatric nursing care in patients' homes, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning Monitor vital signs, perform physical examinations, and evaluate patient progress regularly Manage tube feedings, and ventilator support as needed for pediatric patients Coordinate with families and caregivers to educate them on health management, medication routines, and safety protocols Document all patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies Requirements Valid RN or LPN license with current state certification Experience working with pediatric populations, including infants and toddlers Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience with medical documentation is essential Knowledge of pediatric-specific conditions including infectious disease management, Ability to perform sterile procedures, and basic life support (BLS) certification required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is highly valued
