+ Job Number + 1122 GhostRx is recruiting a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the largest Central Florida behavioral health organization, a nonprofit provider of integrated behavioral health, addiction medicine, and primary care, at its Orlando campus. As a psychiatric LPN you will deliver hands-on nursing care to adults and adolescents across inpatient acute care, crisis stabilization, detox, residential, and outpatient programs, working 3×12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating schedule. You will conduct patient assessments that address mental health, substance use, and physical health needs, administer medications including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and partner with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and behavioral health technicians to keep every unit safe and therapeutic.   • Qualification and Requirements
  • + Active, unrestricted Florida LPN license (RN candidates also considered) + Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program + Current BLS/CPR certification + Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, addiction medicine, or integrated care preferred; new graduates with a passion for mental health will be considered + Ability to obtain Level II background clearance (fingerprinting costs covered by employer) + Valid Florida driver's license + Strong critical thinking, assessment, and de-escalation skills + Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and accurate clinical documentation + Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental, patient-centered approach to care + Ability to work 3×12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays as assigned •Responsibilities•+ Perform comprehensive nursing assessments addressing mental health, substance use, physical health, and social factors affecting patient well-being + Administer and document oral, injectable, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) medications in accordance with physician and APRN orders + Monitor vital signs, observe patient behavior, and promptly report changes in condition to the RN, provider, or interdisciplinary team + Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans that integrate behavioral health and primary care + Provide patient and family education, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling on medications, diagnoses, and recovery + Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and patient rounds to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu + Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies using crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques + Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with Florida, Joint Commission, and HIPAA standards + Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, case managers, and behavioral health technicians to coordinate care + Participate in staff meetings, competency training, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in behavioral health nursing GhostRX, Inc.
