Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, employing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers Engage residents in social activities and group programs to promote mental stimulation and community involvement Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and incident reports Follow all safety procedures related to safe patient lifting practices and infection control standards Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care environments preferred Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal or home & community care Familiarity with dementia care, memory care techniques, and behavioral management strategies Knowledge of medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is highly valued Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's or geriatrics care is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively Join us in delivering exceptional care that enhances the lives of our residents!
