Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med-Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support and medical assistance to residents in a small 20 bed assisted living facility. Your expertise will ensure residents receive personalized care that promotes comfort, safety, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and other chronic conditions. As a Caregiver/Med-Tech, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document medication administration using MAR (Medical Assistance Record) system Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies Observe and record changes in residents' physical and mental health status; communicate findings to healthcare team members effectively Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life in assisted living or home care environments The available shift is 10pm-6am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic nursing practices Experience with MOR a plus Proven ability to perform caregiving tasks including medication assistance administration, as well as general cleaning Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Previous roles involving medical records management or medical office experience are advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality senior care that respects each individual's dignity and promotes their health.
