Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Wound Nurse RN/LPN who is Charter School eligible to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing expert wound care management, patient assessment, and education within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, including critical care experience and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare standards. Administer wound care treatments such as dressing changes, IV infusions, and advanced wound therapies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Educate patients and their families on wound management, infection prevention, and post-care instructions. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for documentation, order entry, and communication with healthcare providers. Participate in ongoing training related to wound care innovations, infection control protocols, and clinical best practices. Requirements Valid RN or LPN license with current state certification; Charter School eligibility preferred. Proven experience in wound care management; critical care experience highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; proficiency in

ICD-9/10

coding is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in settings such as assisted living or skilled nursing facilities. Knowledge of infection control procedures, sterile technique, and advanced wound therapies including IV infusion. Strong assessment skills with the ability to develop comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver communication and patient education.
