Job Summary Join our dedicated pediatric home health team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to children with diverse medical needs in their home environment. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, including medication administration, IV infusions, tube feedings, and catheter care. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations tailored to children's developmental stages. Implement care plans developed by physicians or nurse practitioners, ensuring adherence to pediatric-specific protocols and regulations. Manage emergency situations effectively by utilizing airway management skills, first aid, and acute pain management techniques. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Educate families and caregivers on medication administration, medical equipment use (such as ventilators or Hoyer lifts), and safety procedures to foster confidence in home care routines. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and ongoing therapy needs while adhering to long-term care regulations.

Schedules Available :

Monday- Sunday 12 hour days and 12 nights Skills Proven experience working with children in various healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or home care environments. Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, growth and development principles, and specialized areas like neonatal ventilator management or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation and patient data management. Familiarity with IV infusion techniques, medication administration including injections and venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs measurement and diagnostic evaluation tailored for pediatric patients. Excellent caregiver communication skills to educate families on treatment plans while demonstrating empathy and patience. Knowledge of infection control practices specific to pediatric populations and infectious disease care protocols. Pay:
