LPN Position LPN Job Description We are seeking a dependable and compassionate LPN to provide nursing care to individuals housed at Ware County Jail in Waycross, Georgia. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, document care, and work closely with other healthcare professionals and correctional staff. The ideal LPN candidate will be professional, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable providing healthcare in a correctional environment. The LPN must be able to work the assigned 7:00 PM-7:00 AM rotating schedule and be available to start

Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional setting. Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments according to established orders and procedures. Document patient care accurately and timely. Respond appropriately to medical concerns and changes in patient condition. Communicate patient needs and concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers. Follow all facility, nursing, safety, and security procedures. Maintain professional and respectful interactions with patients and correctional staff. Work collaboratively with the healthcare and correctional teams. LPN Requirements Current LPN license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Valid TB test completed within the past year. Two forms of government-issued identification. LPN candidates must successfully clear a drug screen. LPN candidates must successfully clear a background check. Ability to work a 7:00 PM-7:00 AM rotating schedule. Reliable attendance and professional conduct. Ability to work effectively in a correctional healthcare environment. LPN Benefits $34.00 per hour.
