Seeking a Part-time English/Spanish Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)! Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform suturing with aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and comfort. Assist with medical procedures including , tube feeding, wound care, and ADLS. Support long-term and senior care residents by managing memory care needs, behavioral health concerns, and hospice & palliative medicine protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, ICU, trauma centers, or outpatient clinics to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care. Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance with NCQA standards for quality care delivery. Skills Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish communication with diverse patient populations. Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in medication administration, IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and aseptic technique. Familiarity with specialized areas including ophthalmology, cardiology (cardiac catheterization), infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics (memory care), pediatrics (including neonatal resuscitation procedures), behavioral health, trauma medicine (Level I & II trauma center experience), and occupational health. Ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessment accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills. Critical thinking skills for effective triage management and acute pain or complex case management. Knowledge of infection control protocols and laboratory procedures to support safe clinical practices.
