Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical support and oversight within our Assisted Living community. This role works closely with the Health & Wellness Director (HWD) and is responsible for assisting with regulatory compliance, medication management, resident assessments, clinical audits, and overall nursing oversight. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and passionate about ensuring high-quality care for seniors while supporting the community's clinical operations. Qualifications Current, active LPN license in the state of employment. Experience in Senior Living preferred. Knowledge of medication administration and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and care teams. Computer proficiency and ability to utilize electronic health record systems. Clinical Oversight Support health and wellness services in accordance with state regulations and company policies. Assist with resident assessments, care plan reviews, and documentation audits. Monitor resident health status and communicate changes to appropriate parties. Ensure clinical records are accurate, complete, and compliant. Medication Management Oversee medication administration processes and documentation. Conduct medication cart, MAR, and controlled substance audits. Provide guidance and coaching to care team on medication-related procedures. Coordinate with pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare providers as needed. Compliance & Quality Assurance Perform routine clinical audits and compliance reviews. Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction. Support infection control practices and resident safety initiatives. Team Collaboration Partner closely with the Health & Wellness Director to ensure quality resident care. Provide clinical education and support to caregiving team. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and resident care discussions. Promote a positive, resident-centered culture throughout the community.
