Medical Assistant (MA) - Functional Integrated Pediatric Practice We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in a Functional Integrated Pediatric Practice. This full-time position is perfect for someone passionate about Holistic and Integrative preventative care of pediatric and adolescent patients, who loves working with children and demonstrates compassion toward their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including: Phone triage Referrals and prior authorizations Managing patient schedule and flow Accompanying patients to exam rooms Administering shots and vaccines Recording vitals and patient history Assisting providers during visits Maintain vaccine and office supply inventory Perform CLIA-waived and non-waived lab tests, including quality control File lab reports and results accurately with close attention to detail Ensure clean, organized clinical and exam spaces Comply with HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA regulations
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited MA or nursing program Current MA certification/licensure in Georgia Previous experience in a pediatric medical office or hospital (references required) CPR certification required EMR and data entry experience Familiarity with GRITS Strong problem-solving skills and team leadership ability Excellent customer service and communication skills Must be proactive and team-oriented
Schedule & Benefits:
Full-Time:
Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM (40 hours/week) Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Support for professional growth and work-life balance
