Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted GA LPN license required Prior experience in a 1:1 school nursing capacity highly preferred Comfortable with g-tube feedings, changing, and monitoring vital signs Competence with seizure management, oral suctioning, G/J-tube care, oxygen provision, medication administration, and asthma care Ability to be onsite and willing to meet the student at home for pre-school transport

Role Responsibilities:

Meet student at home each morning and accompany them via school bus per IEP and doctor's directive Provide consistent health care during the school day including g-tube feeds, medication administration, and monitoring vitals Administer supplemental oxygen and oral suctioning as needed Support the student's needs related to seizures and asthma Escort student home in the afternoon by bus Maintain clear communication with school staff and family This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts starting at the student's home. You'll build a strong professional relationship with your student, ensuring their health and well-being from home to school and back again.
