This position reports to:
Direct of Mfg. MOMN- East __ The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: Deploys and leads the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.

Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years experience OR Associate's degree with minimum 10 years experience OR High School Diploma with minimum 12 years experience and already have or be willing to obtainASQ CMQ/OE
Certification. Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, including strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems. Demonstrated ability to apply lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (5S, 8D, PPAP) to drive continuous improvement. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and trend identification using tools such as Minitab. Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization, customers, and suppliers. Experience managing quality operations, including ISO certification maintenance, corrective/preventive actions, root cause analysis, and day-to-day quality department activities. Track record of driving process improvements to reduce cost of poor quality (scrap, rework, warranty), with preferred certifications (ASQ/Six Sigma) and experience with SAP and Microsoft Project. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us:
