Southern Health Partners is looking for a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Jackson County Jail in Georgia . Correctional nursing gives you the opportunity to provide meaningful care to a unique patient population while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team. If you're ready for a nursing role where your skills matter and no two shifts are exactly the same, this could be the opportunity for you. What You'll Do Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting Administer medications and treatments as ordered Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs Communicate with providers and the healthcare team regarding patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Promote continuity of care throughout the facility Provide compassionate, professional care in a secure environment Qualifications Current LPN license in the state of Georgia Current CPR certification Previous correctional, emergency, or other relevant nursing experience is helpful, but not required Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Why Southern Health Partners?
