Qualifications and Experience:
Active LPN license in Georgia required Previous experience in a school setting, particularly in 1:1 care, preferred Proficiency with G/J-tube feedings, seizure management, oxygen administration, medication administration, and oral suctioning Comfort providing daily support to children with asthma and complex health conditions Ability to start early mornings and accompany students safely to and from school each day
Responsibilities:
Administer daily G/J-tube feedings and change as needed Monitor vitals and provide supplemental oxygen when necessary Offer oral suctioning and manage seizures per the student's care plan Meet the student at home each morning, travel on the bus to school, and accompany them home each afternoon Document care provided in line with IEP and doctor's orders This position provides the perfect blend of routine and reward—serving as a vital link in a student's day while collaborating closely with families and educational teams.
