None Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a busy inpatient rehabilitation unit in Macon, Georgia. This position is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation, Med-Surg, orthopedic, post-operative, or trauma care . The unit provides care to patients recovering from acute illness, surgery, trauma, and significant medical debilitation. The successful candidate should be comfortable providing hands-on nursing care, wound management, IV therapy, medication administration, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Unit & Patient Population 33-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit Typical census: 25-33 patients Nurse-to-patient ratio: approximately 1:5-7 Patient population includes: Med-Surg and orthopedic patients Post-operative orthopedic patients Amputations and external fixators Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders Perform wound care and dressing changes RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapy staff, and other members of the care team Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC Follow hospital policies, procedures, and patient-safety standards Required Qualifications Active Georgia LPN license Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation or Med-Surg experience Experience with orthopedic, post-operative, trauma, or rehabilitation patients preferred Current BLS certification NIHSS certification #healthcare
