Job Description Ascend LegacyPoint Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one private-duty nursing care to medically fragile infants, children, and adolescents in their homes. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient's home. Follow physician orders and the patient's individualized plan of care. Administer medications, treatments, and enteral feedings as ordered. Monitor the patient's condition and response to care. Provide tracheostomy, ventilator, oxygen, and other respiratory care when required. Document all nursing services accurately and within required timeframes. Immediately report changes in the patient's condition to the clinical supervisor. Communicate professionally with families, physicians, caregivers, and the clinical team. Educate and support patients and their families as appropriate. Maintain patient safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Follow all agency policies, clinical standards, and infection-control procedures. Preferred Clinical Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: Pediatric private-duty nursing Pediatric home health NICU or PICU Tracheostomy care Ventilator management G-tube, NG-tube, or J-tube feedings Oxygen therapy Seizure management Central venous lines and TPN Medically complex or developmentally disabled children Qualified nurses without extensive pediatric home-care experience are also encouraged to apply. Case-specific training and competency verification may be provided before placement when appropriate. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Georgia RN or LPN license Current CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional Ability to work independently in a home-care environment Excellent communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation Ability to successfully complete all required background screening, health documentation, and pre-employment requirements Schedule and Availability PRN and part-time opportunities Flexible scheduling Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available Shift availability will depend on patient referrals, individual case needs, location, and nurse availability Compensation $35.00-$50.00 per hour Compensation is based on licensure, experience, shift, and the clinical requirements of the assigned case.
