Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical practice on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong IV therapy experience , excellent clinical skills, and a warm, patient-focused approach to care. The LPN will assist with patient care, IV therapy, medication administration, clinical procedures, patient communication, and daily clinical operations while working closely with the physician and healthcare team. Essential Responsibilities Perform IV starts and IV therapy safely and efficiently. Monitor patients before, during, and after IV treatments. Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or complications. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider. Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and other clinical information. Assist the physician with examinations and procedures. Perform injections, wound care, and other nursing procedures within scope of practice. Complete patient assessments and document clinical information accurately in the EHR. Communicate with patients regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and provider instructions. Assist with prescription refill requests and patient clinical calls. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and workplace safety requirements. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas. Monitor and maintain IV supplies, medications, and clinical inventory. Provide compassionate, professional, and respectful patient care. Perform other clinical duties as assigned. Qualifications Current and unrestricted LPN license . IV therapy experience is required. Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required according to practice policy. Previous experience in a physician's office, primary care, IV therapy, infusion, or similar outpatient setting preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control and patient safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and clinical documentation skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-centered.
