Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for our surgery patients. This role requires a strong foundation in medical procedures and excellent patient assessment skills, The LPN will be responsible for implementing care plans, starting IV's for surgery, administering medications, and supporting the overall health and well-being of patients in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation. Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and safety protocols. Perform IV's. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and medical imaging preparations. Maintain detailed medical records using EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Support patients pre- and post-operative care. Ensure infection control practices are followed to maintain a sterile environment. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as ICU, emergency room, medical-surgical units, or long-term care facilities. Knowledge of
