Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing dedicated 1:1 care for an elementary school student as an LPN/LVN. Key Qualifications:
Active LPN or LVN license in Georgia Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to confidentiality and student privacy Ability to remain calm and resourceful in a fast-paced school setting
Role Responsibilities:
Provide attentive 1:1 care to an elementary student throughout the school day Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures as part of the student's care plan Monitor for changes in the student's condition and report updates promptly Document all observations, treatments, and interactions according to school policies Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere in and around the classroom Collaborate with teachers, school nursing staff, and parents to optimize care and participation in school activities Respond appropriately to emergent situations and provide basic first aid or CPR if needed This full-time contract position offers the chance to create a lasting, positive impact while developing your clinical skills within the school setting.
