Job Description
Job Overview Faith Medical Services currently seeking compassionate and experienced pediatric nurses LPN or RN to provide private duty care for a medically fragile infant recently discharged from the NICU. This former 23-week premature twin has severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), chronic oxygen dependence, and feeding challenges. The ideal nurse will be comfortable caring for medically complex infants and have experience with oxygen therapy, continuous pulse oximetry, respiratory assessments, medication administration, nebulizer treatments, suctioning, and monitoring for signs of respiratory distress. Responsibilities include providing continuous oxygen support (1/8 L via nasal cannula), monitoring oxygen saturation, supporting oral feedings, tracking intake and output, repositioning every two hours, rotating the pulse oximeter probe, and educating caregivers. The home is equipped with all necessary respiratory equipment, including oxygen, pulse oximetry, nebulizer, and humidification systems. We are looking for a reliable, attentive nurse with strong communication skills who is committed to providing high-quality, family-centered care while supporting this infant's continued growth, development, and respiratory health.
