Overview We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and experienced CMA/LPN Senior Lead & Trainer to join our clinical team. This position serves as a clinical leader, resource, and trainer for clinical staff while also providing direct patient care and supporting day-to-day clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for patients, caregivers, families, providers, and clinical staff. The Senior Lead & Trainer will assist with staff training and development, clinical workflow, patient communication, chart preparation, phlebotomy, telephone triage, and other clinical responsibilities. The position requires the ability to independently assess situations, determine appropriate next steps within the scope of practice and established protocols, and ensure timely communication and resolution. Responsibilities Serve as a senior clinical resource and point of contact for CMAs/LPNs and other clinical team members. Serve as a positive role model and promote teamwork, professionalism,accountability, and excellent patient service. Provide guidance regarding clinical workflows, patient communication, documentation, and office procedures Coordinate and obtain necessary laboratory results before patient appointments. Perform venipuncture, lab draws, and laboratory specimen collection in accordance with established procedures,and the employee's scope of practice. Ensure abnormal or critical results are appropriately communicated and documented. Handle a high volume of patient calls involving routine, complex, and time-sensitive clinical situations. Accurately document patient encounters, telephone triage, messages, test results, and office correspondence in the EMR. Provide appropriate follow-up and ensure patient needs are communicated and addressed in a timely manner. Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, allergies, immunizations, medication lists, pharmacy information, and other required clinical information. Prepare patients for examination and treatment. May assist multiple providers throughout the week based on clinic needs. Prepare and clean examination rooms between patients. Monitor the daily patient schedule to support efficient patient flow and help providers maintain an on-time clinic. Complete patient chart preparation approximately one week prior to scheduled appointments. Assist with prior authorizations and ensure required clinical information is available before appointments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication lists and patient records. Manage and appropriately prioritize EMR in-basket messages. Process medication refill requests in accordance with established protocols and provider instructions. Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
