JOB DESCRIPTION LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
(PRN) in
WINDER, Georgia :
$35/hr to $40/hr. (
Tues-Thur-Sun:
4hrs)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
A Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is a professional member of the health care team whose primary responsibility is providing direct nursing care under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act regulations of the State Board of Nursing. This position involves
CATHETAR
Change, WOUND Care, and
SUPERVISORY
VISITS, reporting to the Nursing Supervisor, a Registered Nurse.
WORK SCHEDULE
TUE-THU-SUN :
4hrs
PAY RANGE
$35 to $40 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have experience with
CATHETERS
Work experience with
WOUND CARE
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Peg Tube Feeding. Experience with Medication Administration via Peg Tube. Ability to provide care for a client needing Home Care. Possess valid current License under the GA State Board of Nursing. General knowledge of the disease process and medication action.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to Implement the client?s Care Plan and provide direct nursing care of sub-acute, chronically ill, and convalescent clients. Administer medications and therapeutic treatments according to a prescribed regimen. Monitor client's condition including the effectiveness of treatments and medications. Notify supervisor of changes in client's condition. Teach the client appropriate self-care techniques. Document accurately and submit timely the nursing notes, according to agency standards.
