Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join a growing steel fabrication shop in Winder, GA . This is a long-term opportunity with room for growth . The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on structural steel fabrication experience , strong blueprint and shop drawing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate structural steel components , including I-beams, columns, beams, base plates, braces, and miscellaneous steel Read and interpret structural blueprints and shop drawings Measure, cut, fit, align, and assemble structural steel Perform structural steel layout and fit-up Operate overhead cranes safely Perform welding and torch cutting as needed Use hand tools, grinders, welding equipment, and cutting torches Accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Requirements:

3+ years of structural steel fabrication experience Hands-on experience fabricating structural steel required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Ability to accurately read tape measure measurements to 1/16 inch Experience with overhead cranes Welding and torch cutting experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong work ethic and reliability Submit your resume through Indeed, then text or call 470-701-0793 to learn more about the opportunity. #IND3
