Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and dependable caregiver to join our healthcare team. Our mission is to provide quality and quantity care. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and needs. Ability to provide care in one or more of the following Georgia Counties we service such as: Burke, Candler, Columbia, Emanuel, Hancock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, McDuffie, Richmond, and Washington. Qualifications 2+Yrs Experience Current CPR / BLs / First Aide Certification Current Professional GA License Successful completion of Criminal Background and Drug Test Valid GA Driver License Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a health and clean environment Monitor and demonstrate the ability to position patient with proper body alignment, turning to prevent injuries, and perform skin care. Utilize good interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and families Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Help with mobility and transfers using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Support patients with special needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease Administer medications Previous experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, home setting, or hospital settings is preferred Ability to type on a computer keyboard and / or operated EMR system Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) techniques Accountable, reliable, and ability to work independently with good judgement Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in their time of need Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Candidates need to have a love for people, warmth, and the ability to build good rapport with others.
