Responsibilities Operate a variety of manufacturing machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and robotic welders. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to set up machines accurately and ensure proper fabrication. Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting using mechanical knowledge and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy in accordance with GD&T standards. Maintain safety standards in production by adhering to all safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring proper use of hand tools and personal protective equipment. Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly line operations as needed. Document production activities accurately through logs and reports while ensuring quality control standards are consistently met. Skills Proficiency with CNC programming, CAM programming, SolidWorks CAD software, and interpreting technical drawings. Experience operating industrial equipment such as stamping presses, CNC machining centers (milling machines and lathes), press brakes, and flexo presses. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, and materials handling. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret manufacturing specifications for precision machining tasks. Familiarity with shop math principles including basic calculations required for machining tolerances and measurements. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and understanding GD&T concepts for quality assurance. Knowledge of factory safety standards and procedures related to machine operation and manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations including warehouse experience and assembly line support.
