9677190-52205 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving school-aged children as a dedicated LPN or RN. This position focuses on providing expert, compassionate 1:1 care for a student during the school day and bus transport, contributing directly to a positive and safe learning experience. Youll play an essential role each weekday, Monday through Friday, from 7:40am to 11:40am, working closely with both educational staff and healthcare professionals. The schedule is ideal for those seeking consistent morning hours and meaningful interaction with students in a supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN or RN licensure Bachelors degree required Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric settings highly desired Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail Ability to respond calmly and effectively in a variety of situations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, especially with children and school staff Willingness to ride the bus with the student and ensure safety and well-being during transportation

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized nursing care to the assigned student following physician orders and school procedures Monitor and manage specific medical needs throughout the morning and during bus rides Collaborate with school personnel and parents/guardians to support the students overall success and wellness Document care provided and maintain accurate health records Act as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for student health Experience the fulfillment of making a true difference in a students educational journey.
