Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role will begin as a full-time position . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an efficient clinical workflow, supporting patient care, and handling administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients, prepare them for clinical encounters, and carry out physician's orders Record vital signs, review symptoms and medications, and document updates in medical charts Prepare exam rooms for procedures and assist the provider with patient care Follow up on lab work, blood pressure readings, and diagnostic test results, ensuring timely communication with providers Perform data entry tasks to document patient records and assist with patient assistance programs Answer office phones, return messages, and manage patient inquiries Schedule patient appointments, tests, and referrals Prepare patient charts for clinic visits Greet patients and oversee the check-in/check-out process Manage faxes and assist with medical records organization Support general office tasks and assist with any duties as needed We require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and patient care skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals
