A Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse provides basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and other healthcare specialists. The tasks that they are permitted to perform vary by state, but usually include changing bandages, checking blood pressure, or helping feed patients. May work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare facilities.

An Operating Room LPN supports and provides safe, effective and culturally-competent care for pediatric through aging adult patients with actual or potential medical health problems under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Essential Functions:
Communicating patient data for planning, implementation, and evaluation of care Using critical thinking skills and evidence-based practice Supporting Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA Actively participating in performance improvement activities
Schedule:
PRN - minimum requirement of 24 hours per month
